Analysis of Various Firm Productive Efficiency with Environmental Constraints

When evaluating the firm productive efficiency, environmental performance should be considered and the available efficiency measures should treat desirable and undesirable outputs synchronously. In this paper various productive efficiency with environmental factors is analyzed by Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). The relationship between the various production efficiency measures is discussed. Finally, a sample of efficiency measures of 10 steel and irom firms is given.

The paper aims at disclosing and explaining conflicts and contradictions in water resource allocation in a river basin using game theory. After analyzing the behavior principle of actors involved in benefit conflict, some countermeasures and policy recommendations have been put forward for policy-makers to solve the current water resource crisis in China. It can also provide guidance for reforms about water resource allocation and water management mechanism in river basins of the whole country.

The first model shows that the bidders' profit and the bid-taker's revenue vary with the change in the sequence of the objects for auction. A new multi-objective decision making method for site selecting of projects is proposed. Firstly, the fuzzy relationship synthetic matrix is calculated. Then the problem of site selection of projects under every situation is converted to a fuzzy assignment problem or a fuzzy generalized assignment problem, and its optimal solution can be easily obtained by the famous Hungary algorithm. Finally, the proposed method is illustrated by a practical example.

This paper investigates the impacts by travel information systems on travel behavior through using two models namely stochastic and deterministic user-equilibrium assignments. The study leads to an interesting insight that the effectiveness of travel information systems is not general but conditional. The work is carried out under the assumption of linear cost functions in a simple network.
